What we believe
Flat patty. High standards.
The crust is the recipe
Fresh beef on a properly hot plate, pressed flat until the crust forms. The star in our logo is exactly that: a smashed patty.
Less on top, more to it
Nothing that gets in the way of the taste. Everything on the burger is there for a reason.
Homemade where it counts
The burger sauce comes out of our kitchen and goes on every beef burger. We make the trileçe and the tiramisu ourselves too.
The plate in plain view
You can watch your burger being made. Eat in or take away – wooden tables, warm light.

1901
That winter, a young private tutor lives here: Albert Einstein. He teaches at Dr. Jakob Nüesch's private school and stays until the end of January 1902.

On the corner of Bahnhofstrasse and Bachstrasse, raised up behind the hedge: take the steps and you're there.
On foot from the station
Just over 5 minutes, about 420 m along Bahnhofstrasse.
By bus
Line 1, 4 or 5 to «Feuerwehrzentrum» – the stop is right outside.
By car
Park in the Bahnhof-Parking garage, then it's about 400 m on foot.
